Snowflake leaders advocate for healthy lifestyles

Published March 13, 2021

Leading a small group discussion at Snowflake, Junior Lily Dale talks about ways to live a healthy life. At Snowflake, the group leaders were expected to lead and engage in discussions with the middle schoolers about how to live a healthy life, for example, managing stress, not abusing drugs or alcohol, or confiding in a trusted adult.

“I was a Snowflake leader my sophomore year, and my junior year I joined the Snowflake Leadership team so I could play a bigger role in planning Snowflake to help the middle schoolers have the same positive experience I had myself. Obviously, this year was a little different, but it was still nice to help the kids make the most of the situation and have a fun Snowflake experience,” Dale said.
