POTW: Bake sale!

Published February 27, 2019

February 27th, after school in front of the library, Hope’s In created by Barrington alumni held a bake sale through Sophomore Class Board. The organization is designed to help build houses for families in Guatemala City’s trash dump. Sophomore Sammy Sucholeiki explained, “This time, we are trying to set up a soccer camp for kids who can’t afford proper gear, balls, and other equipment. We will be teaming up with Champions In Action to sponsor coaches to teach kids soccer.” The bake sale completely sold out of everything and the money is on it’s way to kids soccer!
