POTW: Chemistry eudiometer labs

Published October 10, 2020

Sophomore Iqra Hussain (right) watches as AP chemistry teacher Mrs. Jolie Galovich shows how to find the volume of a gas.

On Wednesday, October 7th, students in AP chemistry classes returned on campus at BHS for the day to work with teachers Mrs. Galovich and Mrs. Polly Foley (not pictured) to complete two labs.

“I thought the labs went great today,” Foley said, “First of all, I think it was great just to see everybody, and that’s the social-emotional thing, which is great to have. But it was also important for [students] to be able to see the equipment, read the equipment, and see where those measurements are coming from. That’s what’s going to make you better in class.”
