POTW: Art of jazz

Published October 20, 2020

Middle schooler Michael Glick sits down on the piano bench and begins to play the tuned piano. Glick also is well trained in the arts of saxophone and the clarinet. Spending most of his time performing in front of family and friends during quarantine.

“I play a lot of piano and I usually like to play jazz when using a saxophone. Our school had a concert before the pandemic and I played a solo in front of many people,” Glick said. “If it wasn’t for the piano and the saxophone I wouldn’t know what to do with my free time. It helps me take my mind off of things and I think it really has a positive effect on what’s happening right now.”
