Socially-distanced tennis practice
Published May 17, 2021
Sophomore Sahil Mittal sits at tennis practice with his teammates listening to his coaches.
Due to COVID-19, tennis, along with many other school sports, was delayed and limited in efforts to enforce safety protocols and maintain social distancing guidelines. Tennis was delayed from a typically early Spring season and started in April of this year. Tennis, a naturally distanced sport, quickly adapted to these new safety precautions.
“We had to start the season wearing masks while playing, but we were lucky to get those restrictions lifted relatively quickly. COVID-19 precautions haven’t really affected us otherwise.” Mittal said.
