Career Treks:

Career Treks are a school-run program to help students explore various opportunities for post-high school routes, from college to the trades. Throughout the year, there are various field trips during the school day to nearby facilities and places of specific career interests.

To sign up, students should get a permission form either from Schoology or from the College and Career Center. All students are encouraged to sign up, but juniors and seniors are given priority and can only attend up to two per semester. Students can learn more by contacting Career Advisor Marie Mirabella with any questions.

A list of upcoming career treks can be found here.

College Rep Visits:

Throughout the year, various college and university representatives come to visit, allowing juniors and seniors to delve more into the school’s information. All visits are held in the conference room in the College and Career Center (second floor, across from the ARC). Students can view a list of upcoming visits here.

If students are missing class to attend, they should visit the College and Career Center before their visit to obtain a Rep Visit form. Students and the teacher of the class they will be missing should sign the form and turn it into the College Resource Center. In addition to rep visits, they have a calendar with school-relevant information for students specifically interested in attending a college or university

In addition to these, there are various other career-oriented resources available, such as independent career opportunities for students during their time in high school, as well as general information about career exploration in high school and beyond.
