Music in our schools month
One of the many themes of March this year is “Music in our Schools Month.”
One aspect of this month is orchestra students spreading music throughout our school through live performances.
These live performances will be held in common areas before school every Friday.
Teachers can also opt for orchestra students to start their class with a mini-concert, these will last around three minutes.
“Music in our Schools Month” is recognized by schools all across the country and is organized by the National Association for Music Education.
This theme of March has been ongoing for more than 30 years. Its goal is to highlight the importance of musical education, it also gives music programs a chance to be acknowledged.
