Halloween is the day when students dress up as popular characters, celebrities and sometimes even memes. Halloween can be a fun experience dressing up alone, but there’s something special about following a theme with your group of friends. When someone thinks of Halloween group costumes, couples costumes and ‘girly’ costumes may come to mind, but what are some options for a group of guys?
If you and your friends are aiming for a costume theme that’s unserious and gets people to laugh, then going as different paw patrol characters would be perfect. There are a lot of Paw Patrol characters, each with their own distinct costume. Since each character also has their own unique personality, each person in your group has the opportunity to go as the character they resonate with the most. Whether you’re a Rubble or a Chase kind of guy, that’s up to you.
Maybe dressing as dogs would be too unserious for you, and that’s okay. If that’s the case, I propose going as famous historical characters. Washington, Gandhi or really any of the good guys. You can even make the shortest in your group go as Napoleon. With this option, your group can look fire, yet also sophisticated, on Halloween night.
You can take me up on one of these ideas, or you can look to other students for inspiration. Juniors Christian Lee and Sujay Patel talked about the plans that their friends have for their Halloween costumes.
“Me and all my friends are going to be DC superheroes for Halloween. I didn’t really want to do this idea, but the rest of my friends forced me into it. I think I’m going to go as Batman because I like him the most out of all the characters,” Patel said.
“I’m going to be a Power Ranger for Halloween, along with everyone in my friend group. We decided this because all of my friends thought it would be fun to be Power Rangers. I’m going to be the red one because I’ve liked that character since I was a kid,” Lee said.
