Chocolate hot cocoa burns the tip of your tongue and Christmas tunes fill your ears. All of this while being surrounded by an amazing community of people. Winter Wonderfest is a fun way for the community to get into the Christmas spirit. It is a fairly new tradition that the Fine Arts Student Leadership Board started just five years ago, but it has been a huge hit!
This year the Winter Wonderfest will occur on December 13th and 14th at the front of the atrium from 6:00-8:30 pm. Come out and enjoy an open house with activities mostly held in the new front atrium. This family fun event includes DJs, carnival games, holiday crafts, musical performances and hot chocolate (for purchase).
“I sing at Winter Wonderfest every year and it is such a fun way to spread Christmas spirit,” Junior Ellison Matta said.
Clubs like Madrigals (A seasonal club run through a choir) put on a great show at Winter Wonderfest.
Also, on Saturday, December 13th, from 5-6 p.m., the Fine Arts Student Leadership Board is excited to offer a sensory-friendly Winter Wonderfest. This special event is a quieter experience for everyone to enjoy the festivities. A big thank you to The Board and all of the volunteers for putting together this fun, inclusive event to kick off the holidays! You will not want to miss it!
