Favorite Song: 45 by Gaslight Anthem
“My favorite band is from New Jersey called The Gaslight Anthem. The song is called 45, and it’s a reference to a record that spins around 45 times a minute and the reason I love that song is that sometimes, just like on a 45 record where you have to flip it over halfway to listen to the other side of the album, there are some times when you just have to start over and you get a new start. There are some days where you have a bad day and you just have to flip the record over. So flipping the record over is like a metaphor for when you just have to start brand new. And I think that’s just the coolest thing ever. One of the coolest things about life is that you get to start over sometimes.”

Favorite Song: Last Great American Dynasty by Taylor Swift

“My favorite song is the Last Great American Dynasty by Taylor Swift. I think it’s a good song for, like, any scenario or situation. I feel like it’s good to listen to on the drive to school. It’s good when you’re like, not in a great place, and then it’s also good to listen to when I run. I feel like it’s got a good beat and consistency to it. As well, I really like the story within the song.
