Lead: This spring, the BHS Fine Arts Department is lighting up the stage with the production of “SIX”, the musical. The iconic Broadway musical is coming to BHS in the black box theater on Thursday, May 1st, and Saturday, May 3rd.

The 80-minute musical follows the “SIX” wives of Henry VIII. From Tudor Queens to pop icons, the “SIX” wives take the microphone to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse – remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st-century girl power!

Junior, Marianna Naddeo, is cast as the notorious Anna of Cleves, Henry VIII’s fourth wife. She speaks about her opinion on her character.

“I think Anna of Cleves is such a fun character to play, she’s so carefree and does what she wants when she wants. She doesn’t have anyone telling her what or not to do,” Naddeo said.

Furthermore, Naddeo also shares what makes the production stand out and why audiences should come see it.

“ I think people should watch the show because it’s more modern, the music is so fun, and the show is energetic and sassy! I also love the differences between each character and how they all tie together to make the ‘SIX’ ex-wives,” Naddeo said.
