Hello! I’m Vidya, one of the three editors-in-chief for this school year! I’ve been a part of the RoundUp staff since my freshman year of high school, two years ago, and I immediately knew that this was something I’d continue for the next four years of my high school.

Walking into journalism freshman year, I didn’t know what to expect. What I found, however, was a community of people who work together to uplift the voices of our school and community. It was an incredibly exhilarating experience to be a part of.

Last school year, I was the multimedia editor on staff, and I immediately fell in love with all things digital. That, combined with my passion for computer science, fueled my interest for web design and technical development.

My hope for this year is to draw more attention to the RoundUp’s website. Our website is filled with the same fun stories and articles as our print editions, as well as web-exclusive content like multimedia and quizzes!

As we continue through the school year, my goal is to see the website come to life as we continue to share the stories and voices of our school and its community!
