Editor-in-Chief Anshul Nadendla recommends the show Designated Survivor. Designated survivor is a suspenseful TV show that imagines the state of the US government in a particularly disastrous scenario. The show is intense, and will particularly appeal to those interested in government, politics, and/or conspiracy.
Reporter Sasha Kassel recommends the show The Golden Bachelorette. The finale to the first season of The Golden Bachelorette just aired on Nov. 13. Skipping “show hour” at my house, I almost always retire to my bedroom after dinner. The Golden Bachelorette, however, pulled me in. “Golden Bachelorette” is unique from most other reality shows, and even the other shows a part of the “Bachelor” string, thanks to its lack of drama and wholesomeness. It may not be the choice for the traditional reality TV fan, but I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to avoid more drama at the end of the day.
Reporter Manav Uddin recommends the show Arrested Development. Arrested Development is one of my favorite shows. It’s a comedy and is on Netflix. If you’re a fan of The Office, Parks and Rec, and Community, you will really enjoy this show.
Reporter Rainey Roy recommends the show The Penguin. This show is so entertaining, a very interesting, multi-layered action movie that follows The Batman Movie in chronological order but from the villain’s point of view. I think a wide variety of people would enjoy this show but specifically those who love suspenseful drama that’s very cinematic.
