The “Hail Flutie” at the 1984 football game Boston College vs. Miami College goes down in history as one of the best Hail Marys of all time. Miami is up 45-47 with seconds left when Boston college player Doug Flutie runs the ball from the 20 yard and moves 32 yards with the ball. Suddenly with six seconds left Flutie passes the ball to player Gerard Phelan. The 65 yard pass is caught by Phelan who makes a touchdown that will go down in history forever.
Cleveland vs New Orleans 1919
A 0-7 slump by the Browns about to turn to 0-8. Two seconds on the clock New Orleans Saints up 16-14. Cleveland’s Tim Couch sprints and throws the ball Kevin Johnson catches it and makes the touch down just in the nic of time.
Green Bay vs Arizona 2016
A close score of 19-20 the clock dwindling down. Green Bay’s very own Arron Rodgers makes a miraculous 59 yard touchdown pass to Jeff Janis getting the touchdown. This ultimately tied the score making it 20-20 and brought the game into overtime. The Cardinals ended up winning the game despite this almost impossible Hail Mary.
