As most juniors know, the ACT is approaching on April 14, and students have started or are studying for it as the date nears. Some students may need direction, as there are many different ways to study for the ACT, and everyone prepares differently.
While BHS does not endorse or personally recommend any ACT/SAT prep organizations or free tests, they are linked on the counseling departments of the BHS homepage. Students can also find the page linked to the listed organizations, resources, free practice tests and AP testing help here.
Organizations like Elevated Minds and Kaplan Test Prep offer group and individual tutoring, but charge a high price for their services (typically in the $1000-$2000 range). The webpage also includes free ACT/SAT practice tests from Kaplan and from “Khan Academy”. Students can also find multiple links dedicated to AP test prep and frequently asked questions on AP tests.
